3D CAD
SOLIDWORKS is industry leading parametric design software used for all stages of product development.
Using SOLIDWORKS we can 3D model individual parts with associated 2D drawings. We can also assemble parts into complex assemblies which also have 2D drawings.
Within full assemblies you can have sub-assemblies. So, for manufacturers who have various stages and departments in the manufacture, they can each have specific drawings of the sub-assemblies.
Having CAD drawings allows a manufacturer to outsource components or the whole machine easily.
About Us
Jamie Stenhouse has a background in agriculture and later worked as a fencing contractor.
During that time Jamie invented a fencing machine, later called EZYWIRE.
In the development stage Jamie found it difficult to find help in the drawing and modelling of the machine and eventually purchased SOLIDWORKS. This allowed the creation of further complimentary products, expanding the range.
In 2024, Jamie sold the business with the products he developed and is now offering mechanical CAD services as his core business.
In some cases, prototype manufacture can also be performed.
Jamie has been designing with SOLIDWORKS since 2020 and
holds industry accreditations in SOLIDWORKS CAD services.
